The Bengaluru Police late on Thursday night registered an FIR under the Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against the former CM and BJP Parliamentary Board member BS Yediyurappa based on a complaint from a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her 17-year-old daughter, last month. The government later transferred the case to CID.
