The Union home ministry has set up an online portal and will soon launch a helpline number to assist applicants of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), 2019. The helpline will provide free calls from 8 am to 8 pm and information related to the new law. The ministry notified the rules under the CAA on Monday.
