The BJP core committee on Bihar met to discuss Lok Sabha candidates, considering replacements for a few existing MPs. Bihar's deputy chief ministers, BJP general secretary Vinod Tawde, and others attended the meeting. They are expected to meet Amit Shah and JP Nadda later. The party is likely to offer 16 seats to JDU and discuss seat-sharing with other NDA partners. Chirag Paswan met Nadda to discuss the seat formula, and further alliance talks are expected after Nitish Kumar's return from London on March 12.
