Skipping Summons: Local court tells Arvind Kejriwal to appear in person on 16th

By Economic Times - 9 months ago
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been issued summons by a local court in connection with a fresh complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleging non-compliance with its summons in the Delhi excise policy case. The court has directed Kejriwal to appear in person on March 16. The ED's complaint states that Kejriwal was summoned several times but refused to comply. Kejriwal has previously called the ED's summons "illegal" and "politically motivated." This is the second summons issued to Kejriwal in this case, following a previous summons for February 17, which he also did not appear for.
