BJP has criticized DMK's A Raja for hate speech, advocating the balkanisation of India and making derogatory comments about Lord Ram, Manipuris, and the idea of India as a nation. Malviya expressed concern over the continuous hate speeches from DMK members and questioned the silence of Congress and other INDI Alliance partners.
