The Calcutta High Court division bench declined an urgent hearing for the West Bengal government's appeal against a single bench order permitting the Leader of Opposition, Suvendu Adhikari, to visit Sandeshkhali. The single bench had granted Adhikari permission to visit Haldarpara in Sandeshkhali.
