The BJP has secured victory in 30 out of 56 Rajya Sabha seats set to become vacant in April, with 20 uncontested wins and 10 through Tuesday's elections. This would bring their Rajya Sabha count to 97, while the BJP-led NDA's tally reaches 117, just four seats short of the majority mark of 121 in the 240-member House.
