The Samajwadi Party and its ally, the Apna Dal (K), have split over Rajya Sabha voting. Samajwadi Party MLA Manoj Kumar Pandey resigned from Chief Whip post after meeting UP CM Yogi Adityanath. MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh may vote against the party. BJP has fielded 8 candidates for Rajya Sabha election. The outcome will impact Lok Sabha polls.
