The EOW of Mumbai Police is investigating the Shiv Sena (UBT) faction for alleged cheating and forgery after a complaint by the Eknath Shinde-led party. The Election Commission recognized Shinde's faction as the real Shiv Sena, splitting the parent party into two factions.
