Shafiqur Rahman Barq, the MP from Sambhal belonging to the Samajwadi Party, passed away at the age of 93. Barq was admitted to a private hospital in Moradabad due to deteriorating health caused by a prolonged illness. He had previously served as a four-time MLA and was elected as MP from Sambhal in 2019. The Samajwadi Party expressed deep sadness over the loss and offered their condolences to the bereaved family.
