The Maha Vikas Aghadi boycotted the tea party ahead of the week-long Budget session in Maharashtra, accusing the Eknath Shinde-led government of sparking social tensions over reservation and misleading the Maratha community. The opposition also criticized the government for the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
