Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given approval for 23 more shops and commercial establishments to operate round the clock, pending final approval from the lieutenant governor. These establishments must comply with the Delhi Shops Establishment Act of 1954, with strict surveillance to ensure adherence. This initiative, if approved, will add to the existing 699 shops permitted to operate 24/7, creating new job opportunities and boosting economic activities in the city.
