Manoj Jarange, the leader of the Maratha quota agitation, is observing an indefinite fast in Jalna, Maharashtra, demanding the inclusion of the Maratha community into the Other Backward Class (OBC) grouping. Jarange's health is deteriorating, and he is not allowing doctors to examine him. He has threatened the state government that if he dies during his hunger strike, the Maratha community would set Maharashtra on fire, similar to Lord Hanuman's actions in Lanka.
