Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann alleged "cheating" in the Chandigarh mayoral polls, calling it a Black Day for democracy. The BJP won all three posts, including mayor, defeating the Congress-AAP alliance. Mann accused presiding officer Anil Masih of invalidating ballots, tipping the scales in favor of the BJP candidate. Councillors protested the results. Mann demanded a treason case against Masih, who he claimed is a BJP office-bearer. The mayoral elections were marred by tampering, as seen in the video recording, according to Mann.
