Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut criticized the BJP and Nitish Kumar, claiming that the country is under the rule of "Paltu Rams" instead of Ram Rajya. Raut accused the BJP of engineering the breakup of the Bihar alliance and expressed dissatisfaction with the current political scenario. He stated that the BJP is the biggest threat to democracy and highlighted the need for better governance. Nitish Kumar resigned as Bihar's chief minister, citing issues within the opposition alliance, and later took oath for a record ninth time in Bihar.
