Vijay Kumar Sinha, an experienced upper-caste BJP leader, is likely to become one of the two deputy CMs in the new NDA government led by Nitish Kumar. He belongs to the influential Bhumihar community and has held various posts such as Bihar Assembly Speaker, cabinet minister, and Leader of the Opposition. Sinha, a grassroots BJP worker, made his debut in the assembly in 2010 and has been vocal on issues like alleged ill-treatment of people from Bihar in Tamil Nadu.
