The Delhi High Court declined to intervene in the proceedings against Jharkhand Mukti Morcha chief Shibu Soren initiated by the Lokpal based on a complaint by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. The Lokpal proceedings, which were stayed by the high court on September 12, 2022, were challenged by Soren, who argued that the case against him was politically motivated and purely malicious.
