Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Saturday that a grand theatrical production showcasing the life of Lachit Barphukan will be performed nationwide. The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, unveiled a book titled "Assam's Braveheart - Lachit Barphukan" during a ceremony held at the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati, with Chief Minister Sarma in attendance.
