Sharad Pawar criticised the Enforcement Directorate for using it as a tool to intimidate political opponents. His grandnephew, Rohit Pawar, has received a summons regarding the MSCB scam investigation. The ED had previously raided Baramati Agro and other linked entities. The NCP split after Ajit Pawar and eight MLAs joined the Eknath Shinde government. Since then, the Deputy CM has raked up Sharad Pawar's age to justify his rebellion.
