Mahua Moitra leaves govt bungalow after DoE sends team to evict official residence

Following the dispatch of a team of officials by the Directorate of Estates on Friday to evict her, former TMC MP Mahua Moitra has now formally vacated her government residence. According to Moitra's counsel, Shadan Farasat, the possession of the house has been surrendered to the officials of the Directorate of Estates. Moitra is currently under scrutiny for her involvement in the cash-for-query scandal.
