RJD president Lalu Prasad met with ally Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar and leader of JD(U). Prasad's son Tejashwi Yadav dismissed rumors of a rift and questioned the curiosity around seat-sharing in the Mahagathbandhan alliance. The JD(U) leaders have been pushing for a quick seat-sharing deal, which was rejected by Prasad earlier.
