Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed that the second Bharat Jodo Yatra in Assam is facing more problems than the first one, passing through BJP-ruled states. Ramesh questioned why Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is 'afraid' of the Congress. He asserted that no power can stop the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam. Ramesh criticised Sarma for threatening the Yatra with FIRs and imprisonment.
