Step into a festive wonderland, where every corner is stacked with the finest selections from international brands, without leaving Metro Manila as Rustan's dresses up for Christmas. From its window displays to cheerful interior, the department store promises to bring the spirit of wonder, joy, hope, kindness, charity, love, warmth, and gratitude throughout the holiday season.
For decades, Rustan's has been a holiday destination for Filipinos — from picking out gifts or simply enjoying the ambiance together in the marvelously festooned space.
This holiday season, Rustan's continued to showcase its wonderful offerings beginning with the unveiling ceremony of Rustan's Christmas-themed window display. This tradition, which dates back to the 1980s, has become a Christmas hallmark. While it creatively brings many of its featured brands to the forefront, the window display also spreads the holiday spirit to every passerby, leaving them with a simple yet profound joy — that is, the magic of Christmas.
This year, the window display playfully depicts Santa's journey, showcasing his preparations in the workshop and culminating in the joyous act of delivering gifts to children in the community.
What makes this year's concept unique is its modern interpretation of the folkloric tale. For instance, instead of a sleigh, Santa is seen driving a beautiful vintage car loaded with gifts, which Old Saint Nick drives into town while Mrs. Claus is seen zipping through town on a Vespa.
Other familiar characters also make an appearance including a reindeer and a bear driving a Volkswagen van loaded with gifts making this Christmas a whimsical treat to remember.
The stunning façade features Giant Christmas Ornaments that highlights the spectacle patrons encounter when they step into the illustrious store, inviting them to embrace the holiday spirit in a truly enchanting way.
