THE New Era University Integrated School (NEUIS), in partnership with the Councils of Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), held an Investiture Ceremony at the NEU Multipurpose Hall, Professional Schools Building on October 8, 2024.

NEUIS Principal Sunday Sibul, EdD, said the joint venture of BSP and GSP marked the start of various NEUIS scouting activities for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

"These initiatives are additional steps in developing students' character to become God-fearing individuals, disciplined, socially intelligent, dynamic leaders, and lifelong learners," Sibul added.

Meanwhile, NEU The Mindbuilder reported that NEU Basketball Team Hunters muse Misaki Hosotani was hailed as Miss National Athletic Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities (Naascu) 2024.

The event happened after the Naascu Season 22 basketball game opener was held at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City on October 18.

NEU Hunters won over the Manuel L Quezon University Stallions during the opening game with scores of 88-74. NEU Hunters player James Manzano captured the Best Player of the Game award with 12 points, 10 rebounds and one assist.
