THE Cavite State University (CvSU) is hosting five student teachers from the Universitas PGRI Madiun (Unipma) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) in Indonesia who will participate in the Batch 10 Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher).

CvSU officer-in-charge John Xavier Nepomuceno said the student teachers from Indonesia are Febrianti Nurul Aulia, Selya Nedjua Resti Yohana and

Ultari Putri Indrasari from Unipma, and Rahma Luthfiani Harira Wahid and Ayu Harum Rahma Dani from UMS.

"As part of the month-long student exchange program, the student teacher will take on different roles and responsibilities to enhance their teaching skills and understanding of Philippine culture during their practicum at CvSU," Nepomuceno added.

The SEA-Teacher project fosters cross-cultural exchange, provides opportunities for participating fourth-year students majoring in math, science, English, and preschool

education and gain invaluable teaching experiences during their practicum in universities within Southeast Asia.

SEA Teacher is a project that aims to provide the opportunity for pre-service student teachers from universities in the region to have teaching experiences or practicum in schools in Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries.
