MANILA, Philippines — ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo filed his certificate of candidacy (CoC) for senator on Sunday.
"I'll start working on day one [if elected]," he said. He will run under the administration party coalition Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
Tulfo thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for inviting him to join the administration's 12-man senatorial slate.
The former broadcaster and reporter was appointed secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development but was bypassed by the Commissioner on Appointments.
