Iloilo's No. 8 most wanted person nabbed
ILOILO CITY — The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) has arrested Iloilo province's No. 8 most wanted person on Tuesday. The suspect was apprehended in Barangay Tanza, city proper of Iloilo City. The 56-year-old resident of Barangay Abilay Sur, Oton, Iloilo, is currently facing charges of rape. His arrest was made possible by a warrant issued by a regional trial court branch in Iloilo City, with no bail recommended. On the same day, PRO 6 successfully arrested 26 wanted individuals across the region. Among them were three most wanted persons, while the remaining 23 were other wanted individuals. On the same day, the PRO 6 seized around 195 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.3 million and arrested six individuals in the Molo district in Iloilo City. The suspects include a high-value individual and five street-level individuals.
