House panel cites Harry Roque in contempt
MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives's quad committee on Thursday cited lawyer Harry Roque in contempt for "refusing" to submit the documents it required of him. The panel also ruled to detain Roque in the House's detention facility until he submitted the documents or until it ended its investigation into the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs). The panel ordered its secretariat to issue a subpoena to Roque for, among others, the deed of sale of a lot, his income tax return, 2016-2022 SALNs (statements of assets, liabilities, and net worth), and a trust agreement.
