MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American pop star Olivia Rodrigo announced her first-ever concert in the Philippines, set for October 5, as part of her "Guts World Tour." "Manila!!! I'm soooo excited to visit the Philippines for the 1st time for a very special Silver Star Show on the GUTS world tour on October 5th, presented by @AmericanExpress," the 21-year-old wrote on her official social media pages, sharing the official concert poster. The concert will be held at the Philippine Arena, with tickets sold exclusively as Silver Star Tickets. Rodrigo's Silver Star show initiative aims to make her performances as accessible and affordable as possible, with all tickets priced at P1,500, including taxes, and a limit of four per purchaser. Live Nation Philippines, the concert producer, reminded fans, "These seats will be located next to each other, and seat locations will be revealed when tickets are picked up in person after September 28." "Ticket sections within the venue will be assigned randomly and will include all seats within the venue, including limited view seats, lower and upper level seating, as well as the floor," Live Nation added. All net proceeds from ticket sales will go to Rodrigo's Fund 4 Good, a global initiative committed to creating an equitable and just future for women and girls. The fund supports community-based nonprofits focused on girls' education, reproductive rights, and preventing gender-based violence. Online ticket sales begin Saturday, September 14, at 10 a.m., with ticket redemption scheduled from Saturday, September 28, to Friday, October 4, at any SM Tickets outlet. Over-the-counter sales will start Sunday, September 29, at 12 p.m. Live Nation emphasized that the name on the claim ticket voucher must match the individual redeeming the tickets. Fans are required to bring a valid ID and their claim ticket voucher for redemption. Rodrigo, known for her hits "drivers license," "deja vu," "vampire," "traitor," and "good 4 u," has won an American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards.
