THE Philippine Mining Club is set to host a significant industry event on Sept. 20, 2024, bringing together top leaders and experts to share their insights on key topics affecting the mining sector. The luncheon will be held at the Velvet 1 and 2 ballrooms, 2nd Floor of the Seda Hotel BGC in Taguig City, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The group is honored to announce that Jose Bayani Baylon, chief sustainability officer, chief risk officer, and senior vice president for sustainability, risk, corporate affairs, and communications at Nickel Asia Corp., will deliver the keynote address. Baylon's extensive experience and leadership in sustainability and corporate affairs make him a valuable voice in the ongoing dialogue about the future of mining in the Philippines.

Joining him will be Craig Annison, a geophysicist with Xcalibur Smart Mapping, and Luisa Rust, senior trade investment commissioner at the Australian Embassy in Manila.
