By Manila Times - 3 weeks ago

CENTURY Properties Group (CPG) and its first home brand, PHirst, celebrated National Heroes Day by presenting Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo with a house and lot at PHirst Editions Batulao in Batangas. The symbolic key handover took place at Century City Mall, Makati, in front of 300 attendees. Yulo's new home, named Charles, is a P6 million single-attached house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-car carport, set to be completed by March 2025.

CPG Executive Chairman Amb. Jose Antonio expressed pride in Yulo's achievements, saying, "Winning gold in the Olympics is an extraordinary achievement for the Philippines, and a double gold is historic for us, Filipinos." He added that the house is a token of gratitude and appreciation for Yulo's remarkable accomplishment.

CPG President and CEO Marco Antonio highlighted the shared values of passion and innovation between Yulo and Century Properties. He emphasized that these values have driven the company's success in creating new-generation real estate and supporting first-home buyers through PHirst Park Homes.

Yulo, the first Filipino and Southeast Asian to win two Olympic gold medals, attended the event with his mentor, Gymnastics Association of the Philippines President Cynthia Carrion. CPG also donated P500,000 to the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines to support grassroots gymnasts.

Carrion expressed her gratitude, noting that the donation will greatly benefit about 100 young athletes aspiring to achieve greatness like Yulo.

During the event, Yulo shared his motivational journey, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and faith in achieving his dreams. He encouraged others to continue dreaming and fighting for their goals.

The ceremony concluded with the formal handover of Yulo's house and lot, led by CPG and PHirst executives, including CPG Vice Chairman John Victor Antonio, PHirst Executive VP and COO Loren Sales, and PHirst CFO Rodel Marqueses.

In a similar gesture, CPG and PHirst awarded a house and lot to the Philippines' first Olympic gold medalist, Hidilyn Diaz, in 2021, following her victory in weightlifting at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

PHirst continues to lead the first-home buyer market with master-planned communities that feature complete homes, innovative amenities, connected living, and a convenient buying experience. The brand currently has 23 communities across Luzon and Visayas, with more developments on the way. For more information, visit www.century-phirst.com.
