It is, therefore, a shoe tailored for those seeking more efficiency in their runs, tapping into the insight that one in five 18- to 24-year-olds are worried about their energy levels.

Eliza Filby, Ph.d, a historian of generational evolution who led the research, commented, "The next generation is under a lot of pressure, burnt out, and disoriented by the state of the world. There are so many demands on their energy and time, and when it comes to making a choice, physical exercise like running can often be one of the first things to go."
