Farm Fresh snaps 2-game losing skid in PVL

MANILA, Philippines — Farm Fresh snapped its two-game losing skid after beating Capital1 in straight sets, 25-17, 25-23, 25-20, in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Thursday.The Foxies bowed to Cignal and PLDT in their last two games but bounced back with a huge win against the Solar Spikers.

Yeny Murillo led Farm Fresh with 15 points while Trisha Tubu added 12 points.Farm Fresh also found a way to stop Marina Tushova, who earlier scored 45 points against Choco Mucho and 49 points versus Nxled for Capital1. She was limited to only 18 points against Farm Fresh on Thursday.

"We are thankful for our coaching staff since they really studied Marina, and us as players we just trusted our coaches' scouting, and we stuck to the plan. Thankfully we got the win, and we stopped Marina," Tubu said after the game.Janel Delerio took care of the Foxies' floor defense by tallying 22 excellent digs, and nine excellent receptions.Farm Fresh improved its win-loss record to 3-4, while the Solar Spikers fell to a 4-3. The Foxies also improved their chance to make the quarterfinal round.
