MANILA, Philippines — Rain or Shine threw its full offensive might against defending UAAP men's champion De La Salle University, 138-116 to score a four-game sweep of the 39th Kadayawan Invitational basketball tournament on Sunday night finale at the University of Southeastern Philippines gymnasium in Davao City.

Comebacking import Aaron Fuller and guards Andrei Caracut as well as Gian Mamuyac spearheaded the Elasto Painters' blazing offense that saw them pour 42 points in the opening quarter as they never look back.

Fuller was a tower of strength for Rain or Shine as he erupted for 34 points and 11 rebounds.

Caracut chipped in solid all-around numbers of 21 points, eight assists, and three rebounds against his former school, while Mamuyac had 17.

Incoming sophomore big man Keith Datu also scored 17 points, which enjoyed a 77-59 halftime lead.

Rain or Shine ruled the four-day tourey, after sweeping the single-round robin elims following victories over La Salle, Phoenix, and Converge.-
