COMPREHENSIVE entertainment platform BingoPlus, which is provider of favorite online tongits, bingo, and perya games, maintained its support of Philippine culture during the Aliwan Fiesta 2024 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex.
An annual gathering of different cultural festivals, the Aliwan Fiesta showcases the incredible variety of Filipino culture and the people's inherent joy of life. The nature of the event has earned it the moniker "The Philippines' Grandest Fiesta," with several contingents promoting their respective regions in both an economic and tourism-centric fashion.
It is divided into three events: cultural street dance competition, float parade and Reyna ng Aliwan pageant.
BingoPlus joined Aliwan Fiesta as one of many sponsors, bringing along its unique brand of entertainment and fun. Buntings, lamp posts and streamers displaying the brand's logo decorated the area around the CCP area.
On June 27, the first day of the fiesta, BingoPlus hosted a game segment for event goers to join. DJ Shai and DJ Raqi Terra were brought in as the hosts, amping up the energy as players competed against each other in the "Hep Hep Hooray" game.
Winners were given BingoPlus merchandise gift sets. Another Hep Hep Hooray segment was hosted on June 29, with a cash prize of P2,000.
BingoPlus dancers and its official mascot, BingBing also greeted attendees at the BingoPlus booth. They entertained visitors with small booth performances on June 27 and 28 then performed on the fiesta stage on June 29.
Influencers Swerab Smith and Eunice Andrea were also invited to drop by the booth on June 28, while Dan Laudit, Aira Lipata and Sofia Smith arrived on June 29.
BingoPlus sponsored five special awards throughout the fiesta: the Choice Award to the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival represented by Tribu Pan-Ay for the street dance competition, the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival for the Tugtog ng Aliwan competition, and Guinakit from Cotabato City, Maguindanao del Norte for the grand float parade.
For the Reyna ng Aliwan competition, BingoPlus gave the BingoPlus Netizens' Choice Award to Juliana Louise Martines from the Niyogyugan Festival contingent and the Darling of the Press Award to Michele Angela Okol from the Lakbayaw Festival contingent. They received cash prizes that ranged from P10,000 to P25,000.
With Aliwan being the Tagalog word for "entertainment" or "amusement," BingoPlus felt that sponsoring the Aliwan Fiesta was truly inline with its core values.
