By Manila Times - 6 months ago

TEACHMINT, a leading classroom technology company, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) in the Philippines.

This partnership aims to empower educators and learners at scale in the digital era of education by implementing cutting-edge technology under the Rethinking Education, Championing and Accelerating School Transformation program (Recast).

Recast was an innovative program spearheaded by PEAC, dedicated to support private schools to transform the teaching and learning experience with technology.

"Harnessing technology in education holds immense promise for transforming learning experiences and improving educational outcomes. Recast supports the private schools to be more effective in addressing the challenges in educational delivery by providing them digital assistance through a partnership with Teachmint," PEAC Executive Director Rhodora Ferrer said.

Through this partnership, Teachmint would empower educators and learners from select private schools nationwide with its state-of-the-art Connected Classroom solution.

With a targeted outreach of about 10 schools in phase one, as part of the collaboration for the academic year 2024 to 2025, Teachmint would set up eight Teachmint artificial-enabled Connected Classrooms in participating schools, equip the classrooms with Teachmint's proprietary software to facilitate seamless learning across pre-class, in-class and post-class, and provide comprehensive training to educators to upskill them to maximize the potential of technology and drive superior learning outcomes.
