Bargain hunting ends downslide of Philippine shares

MANILA, Philippines — Investors hunting for bargains at the last minute lifted the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi), ending the week in the green. The benchmark PSEi inched up by 0.96 percent, or 61.35 points, to close at 6,433.10 while the broader All-Shares index climbed by 1.12 percent, or 38.30 points, to settle at 3,463.87.
