BICOL Saro Party-list Rep. Brian Raymund Yamsuan emerged in a survey as top choice for congressional representative of Parañaque's second district for the 2025 elections.
In the Boses ng Bayan survey of the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc., 42 percent of the respondents were for Yamsuan.
"We are grateful for the support of our fellow Parañaque residents in the second district. We thank you very much not only for your ever-growing support, but also for the opportunity and trust that you continue to give us to be able to extend assistance," said the lawmaker, who has been a resident of the city for nearly 25 years.
In the survey, Yamsuan was followed by Parañaque 2nd District Rep. Gus Tambunting with 35 percent and by Councilor Rico Golez, former Parañaque vice mayor, with 12 percent.
Also, the survey showed that 11 percent of the respondents were undecided.
The survey, which had 1,200 adult respondents, was conducted in March 2024.
It had a margin of error of ±3 percent and a 95 percent confidence level.
Yamsuan's initiatives for the district included an extra rice (food) program, sustainable livelihood program, sports facilities improvement program and medical missions in the barangay (villages).
