CAVITE State University College of Education (CvSU-CEd) students emerged champions and hailed as Best in Instructional Material in the Teaching Demonstration category during the Young Educators' Congress (YEC) held at the De La Salle-Dasmariñas, City of Dasmariñas, Cavite on May 8, 2024, according to CvSU President Hernando Robles.

Representing CvSU-CEd in the battle of wits and knowledge, three third-year Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) students secured the prestigious YEC Quiz Bee championship title and one fourth-year student clinched a Special Award as Best in Instructional Material in the Teaching Demonstration category.

John Vridge Parin, Nehina Riego and Dennis Alvin Ortula Jr. demonstrated exceptional depth of understanding and quick-thinking skills across various subjects in the field of Professional Education during the quiz bee contest.

Meanwhile, Bachelor of Special Needs Education student Monica Monzon highlighted her teaching-learning strategies in delivering quality education within the pressure of 15-minute demonstration teaching giving her a special award as Best in Instructional Material among all participants.

Their coaches were Prosela Marie Labriaga and Aldrin Terrence Goco for the quiz bee and Harold Cerdon for Demonstration Teaching.
