Women-led community holds 4th annual summit

IT's the fourth year of the Global Women Who Rule (GWWR) Summit, and its growth has been exponential.

Created amid uncertainty in 2021, GWWR started as a group of 22 women collectively invited by Apple Esplana-Manansala, chief executive officer of The New Channel (TNC) and founder of GWWR.

Reaching many countries and cities around the Philippines and the world, covering five continents for the past three years, GWWR once again goes live on May 25, 2024, at the TNC's Orange Studio, Manila, and will stream on TNC's website and social media platforms.

This year's 22 GWWR profiles include Filipino women leaders based abroad, such as Lovanne Gallo, Joyce Mesina Garcia, Kate Hancock, Daffodils Guevarra, and Elaine Bordeaux.

Celebrity and mainstream superstars Antoinette Jadaone, Salve Duplito and Rhoda Castro-Caliwara and business and community leaders Annebelle Aherrera, Jo Fernandez and Michelle Cordero Garcia will also be present.

Completing this year's profiles include leaders from different sectors, such as Jocelle Batapa Sigue, Rossana Llenado, Jel Directo and Carmi Fronteras,

Self-awareness, personality improvement projects and strong sustainability leaders will join forces with GWWR this year too. They are Cherrie Atilano, Koleen Davila-Palaganas,Gigi Tibi, Bai Rohaniza Sumndad-Usman, November Canieso-Yeo and Riza Rasco.

GWWR 2024 has chosen Best Buddies Philippines as this year's charity partner. Its country head, Michelle Aventajado, completes the GWWR profiles this year.
