FILINVEST REIT Corp. (FILRT) and the Philippine branch of global professional services and solutions firm Genpact Services LLC have formalized an agreement for the latter to occupy office spaces at the iHub 1 Building, Northgate Cyberzone in Filinvest City, Alabang.

The iHub1, one of FILRT's 17 Grade A sustainable office buildings, is an information technology and business process outsourcing hub recognized by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

"By aligning with our tenants' values, we aim to enhance their satisfaction and potentially increase our occupancy," FILRT President and CEO Maricel Brion-Lirio said in a statement on Monday.

Genpact's expansion — its sixth — was said to show FILRT's commitment to provide premier office spaces tailored to meet the needs of their tenants.

Its current operations are on Plaza A and Vector 2 of Northgate Cyberzone, which are EDGE-certified buildings supplied with 100-percent renewable energy.

FILRT's share price rose by 2 centavos to close at P2.93 apiece on Monday.
