WATCH: Marcos witnesses signing of PFP and Lakas-CMD alliance

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. witnesses the forging of an alliance between his Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. PFP President and South Cotabato Gov. Reynaldo Tamayo Jr, and Lakas-CMD President and Speaker Martin Romualdez signed for their respective parties. Also present was Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr., Lakas-CMD chairman, and his wife, Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla. In his speech, the President said he would formalize anew the UniTeam alliance for the 2025 midterm elections. The PFP and Lakas-CMD were part of the UniTeam, which catapulted Marcos and running mate Vice President Sara Duterte to a landslide victory in the 2022 elections. VIDEO BY CATHERINE VALENTE
