Adamson University finished No. 2 with a 5-1 record as Shai Nitura and Fel Sagaysay topped National University Nazareth School's Vilmarie Toos and Laiza Benigay, 21-16, 21-14.
Far Eastern University-Diliman's Love Lopez, Sheena Cafe and third player Frenchie Premaylon and Love Lopez prevailed over De La Salle-Zobel's Aislinn Alemaña, Angel Jaden Cenizal and third player Katarina Tria, 21-7, 21-11, to secure the No. 3 ranking with a 4-2 slate.
The knockout Final Four is set for Saturday afternoon as the top-ranked Junior Tiger Sands play the Bullpups, who ended up fourth in the eliminations at 3-3, at 4 p.m.
The Baby Falcons are going up against the Baby Tamaraws in the other Final Four pairing at 4:45 p.m.
UST and Adamson are gunning for their second straight stint in the one-match Final set on Sunday.
After reaching the podium last season, the Junior Lady Spikers, with a 2-4 mark, will miss the Final Four.
The Blue Eagles logged a 1-5 card in sixth spot, while the Junior Fighting Maroons wound up last at 0-6.
