1,906 examinees pass Physician Licensure Exam — PRC

MANILA, Philippines A total of 1906 of the 3,434 examinees or 56 percent passed the 2024 Physician Licensure Exam, with a student from

Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine in first place, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Thursday.

The University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center and the University of Santo Tomas were the top performing schools, garnering 89.23 percent and 84.85 passing rate respectively.

The PLE was conducted on April 7, 8, 14 and 15 in testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

New doctors can obtain their Medical Doctors' Professional ID and Certification of Registration via online appointment through the PRC's website, starting May 16.

All passers who are interested in taking their face-to-face mass oath-taking should register no later than 12:00 p.m. of the day before the actual oath-taking date, which has yet to be announced.
