MANILA — The Philippines’ external trade deficit shrank in February as a robust export growth outpaced a modest uptick in imports that reversed two straight months of contraction. The country posted a trade gap of $3.64 billion in February, down by 6 percent compared with a year ago, the Philippine Statistics Authority reported on Thursday.
