THE Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu had warned the faithful over individuals allegedly using the name of Cebu Archbishop of Jose Palma.

In an advisory on Wednesday, April 10, the archdiocese urged everyone not to entertain any email with the address monsignor.palma@gmail.com, as the address does not belong to Palma.

"We urge everyone to exercise caution and vigilance. Should you receive emails from this address or any email containing unusual requests, kindly report them immediately to relevant authorities," the archdiocese said.

The archdiocese had also shared two screenshots of alleged emails belonging to Palma.
