PH Navy chopper crashes in Cavite, 2 dead

MANILA, Philippines: Two people died when a Philippine Navy training helicopter crashed near a public market in Cavite City early Thursday morning, a spokesman said, citing initial reports.

Capt John Percie Alcos said the Navy Robinson RN 22 helicopter was conducting emergency procedures when the accident happened at about 6:45 a.m.

The two pilots, who have not been identified as of posting time, were rushed to the Bautista Hospital but succumbed to their injuries.
