New UK visa application center launched in Manila

By Manila Times - 3 months ago

TO offer an enhanced visa application submission experience to United Kingdom (UK) visa customers in Manila, Philippines, Alistair White, British deputy ambassador to the Philippines, inaugurated the upgraded UK visa application center in Manila on March 8.

Located on the sixth floor of the Makati Circuit Corporate Tower Two, the new UK visa application center in Manila would offer customers a more comfortable and relaxed visa application submission experience.

Equipped with modern amenities and services, this spacious facility would have the capacity to process a higher volume of visa applications per day.

This center offered 10 submission counters with a capacity to process over 300 applications per day.

The visa application center also provided a host of optional services that included the Premium Lounge service for end-to-end personalized assistance, the Prime Time Appointments service to allow submission of visa applications beyond regular working hours and the Keep My Passport service to allow applicants to retain their passports while their applications were being assessed.

Similarly, the Courier Return service facilitated the delivery of the processed documents to the registered address while SMS notifications could help in giving updates at each step of the application journey.

Additionally, UK visa customers could apply for their visa from any preferred location — from the home or office — by opting for the On Demand Mobile Visa service.

VFS Global operates UK visa application centers across two cities in Philippines, namely Cebu and Manila. This new visa application center in Manila would cater to UK visa applicants, including those wishing to study, travel, do business or go for other reasons.
