MANILA, Philippines: The country is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms on Black Saturday due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau also noted that there could be possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Easterlies are "winds coming from the Pacific Ocean that will carry warm and humid weather."
The temperature range for the day is from 26.6 to 34.5 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, relative humidity ranges from 52 to 88 percent.
