Manila to close road for FIFA World Cup qualifiers on March 25-26

MANILA, Philippines: Several roads in Manila will be closed on March 25 and 26, 2024, as it hosts the Philippine Men's National Football Team's FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Iraq.

Affected is the stretch of Adriatico St. -- from Quirino Avenue to Pablo Ocampo St., according to the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO).

Vehicles going to P. Ocampo street from Adriatico Street should turn right to Quirino Avenue, turn left to Mabini Street, to the point of destination, according to the MPIO.

All vehicles going to Quirino Avenue, from P. Ocampo Street, turn right to Mabini Street, turn right to Quirino Avenue, turn left to Leveriza Street, to the point of destination, it said.

The game will take place at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
